The Lost Notebook of Édouard Manet is Maureen Gibbon’s fourth novel. Published by W. W. Norton in the U.S., it is forthcoming from Guilio Einaudi Editore in Italy, and Vaso Roto in Spain.

Gibbon is also the author of the novels Paris Red, Thief, and Swimming Sweet Arrow, and the prose poem collection Magdalena. Her creative nonfiction has appeared in The New York Times, Playboy, The Daily Mail, and Literary Hub.

​​A graduate of Barnard College and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, Gibbon lives in northern Minnesota.
